Thank youI just completed watching BoB and found it an incredibly moving experience so much more so for the connection to the surviving members of the company. So few people these days appreciate just how great the debt is that we all owe to men like those who served with Easy and it is sad that the passage of time takes them further away from us all. The programme keeps their deeds fresh and will bring understanding to a generation who would otherwise find it hard to comprehend the sacrifices made in order to bring freedom and peace to us all. I served with the RAF in the 80's, and I think the words of Winston Churchill about the Battle of Britain pilots apply no less to the men of Easy and the other companies who went to war to oppose tyranny - "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few". God bless you all. |

I was born 1986, long time after the WWII took place. But I must say you guys are so inspirational to me. I am so deeply grateful for all that you have done for Europe and the world. We will never know what would have happen if Easy Company and all other ally participants would have made their sacrifice and to endure all of this to preserve peace and break down the tyranny which took place. man my grandfather was a vet. he was one of the replacements for the occupational force and yall id thank you in person if i could but i can I just wanna say thank you guys for what u did over there and if i was born in that time period i would have been proud to fight beside u you guys are my heros in life. thank you much love William andrew panter |
